Same problem here on a Macbook pro 16'' 16GB RAM bought 3 weeks ago. 5 times thicker and 2 times heavier than the AirPods Pro case (1. Make sure the volume is right before you start. The mounting bracket is also a little beefier so it won't bend as easily when you fall. Once you see it, let go of the buttons and allow it to boot. If you find an increase in noise from your laptop or computer, then the issue is most probably with the fan. Vortec Heads outflow Bow Tie Heads right out of the box and are a 20 to 40 horsepower bolt-on increase over earlier cast iron small block heads. Unfortunately, that's all I've done for trouble-shooting.How to fix crackling sound on macbook pro. No warning, nothing and if I made any config changes (via the GUI) during that session, they're gone too. The screen will change from White on Blue (in MDOS) and just before it locks up, the screen color changes to dark blue.

Granted the keyboard assignment is slightly different for the Mac but same process.Īs far as the lock-ups go, it just freezes randomly.

I often test on the PC first to get it working functionally, then I make those changes to my Mac and hope that it will work over there too. If I remember right, the same changes did work on the PC side but not on the Mac. I'll try to get more info when I can get some time to really do testing and give you some feedback.Īs far as re-assigning the keys go, I tried to do that but it seems like it totally ignores my changes. So, those most recent observations are my latest road bumps. I'd like to be part of the solution rather than the problem. I feel like it's not fair for me to hit you up when I'm not able to put some effort in from my side (for no other reason than lack of time). Although, it hasn't prevented me from complaining when I've reached my frustration limit. I haven't bothered you with the problems because I haven't been able to commit time to actually pursue and followup and I hate to bitch about something unless I'm ready to do something about it. In recent times I did some productive work on the Geneve emulation without any issues of that kind. I do not have any reports about lock-ups in the Geneve emulation at this time, so also here, please give me some details, best would be a reproducible test.

As this is in the MAME core I did not yet have a deeper look, but I'll put that on my todo list. There is a known issue with the PC Caps Lock key in the MAME core keyboard handling which lets it get out of sync with the emulation maybe this also applies for the Mac.

Please remember to report any issues with MESS to me so that something can be done about it.Ĭoncerning Caps Lock you should redefine another key to become Caps Lock (of course, one that you don't usually need). But, it's not quite there yet (at least for me). My overall goal was to have a duplicate emulation system as my real system, that was I can get the advantages of programming on emulation and eventually test on real hardware. So that sorta solved my MESS problem but I think that's what nixed my V9T9 from working. I also switched up my Macbook Pro to a slightly newer one that supports 64bit. Although, the latest version won't run on my system for some reason. I've also been using V9T9 now that it's Java based. I really do like it and I think it's the best out there for hardware features but the keyboard kills any kind of productivity I gain with emulation. Specifically under the Geneve, can't get CAPS lock to work right, getting the special control buttons to work can all be very challenging and the Geneve seems to lock up quite often so I've pretty much given up using it for anything reliable. I just don't use it much because the keyboard handling is next to impossible to deal with.

Took about a year but it's working for the most part. Yes, I was finally able to get MESS running natively on the Mac. Were you able to get up and operational, Click?
